Employee name: Jo Share
Employee job title: Account Manager
Length of time with OSP: 7 years

What does your job entail?
As an Account Manager at OSP, I'm involved in all aspects of managing a project from budgeting and research to planning and logistics. I act as the go-to contact for clients, suppliers and congress organisers whilst handling anything else the project requires. My role is all about staying flexible and proactive to ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

What do you like most about your job?
The variety! No two days are ever the same. One minute I can be proofreading something in German or reading clinical papers and the next, building furniture, researching sonic chairs or sourcing geometric dog statues! I also love going to site and seeing everything we have carefully planned come together. My job also requires keeping track of a lot of lists — which I love. I sometimes even keep a list of lists that I need to make...

Favourite work memory?
A few years back, when I first joined the company and I didn't travel as part of my job, we had a transport issue caused by a third party where several vital pieces of kit needed on a client's exhibition booth didn't arrive onsite. As most of the team were already on the build in Spain, I was nominated to fly out with a suitcase of replacement items before the congress started. I had to ring my husband to tell him to pick the kids up from school as I was off to Barcelona and I would see him the next day! Poor guy had no idea what was going on!

If I wasn't so good at my job, I would be...
a Christmas event planner. I love everything about Christmas and relish the challenge of planning the perfect festive celebration.

Hobbies? Cake decorating, roller skating, and taking part in escape rooms.

Fun/surprising fact people might not know?
I've been a Scout leader for over nine years so can be regularly found cooking for up to 170 people at a camp! Last week I cooked Christmas dinner for 44 Scouts.

Favourite quote?
More of a motto really: 'Plan for the worst but hope for the best'.
