Reframing the Pause as Possibility
We knew instantly that we wanted to support Menopause Support Monmouthshire (MSM) through our latest Social Value project. Many menopause-focused brands lean into soft pinks, muted tones, and a narrative of loss — but both OSP and our client were keen for this not to be the story for MSM!
Our brief
To create a visual identity and strapline that celebrates menopause as a phase of empowerment and renewal — a moment to pause, reflect, and rediscover yourself.
The Big Idea
We developed a strapline that paved the way for the rest of the identity:
“In every pause lies new possibility.”
Menopause isn’t an ending — it’s a beginning.
MSM encourages women to stop, reflect, and embrace what comes next.
The Colours
The palette became the emotional backbone of the brand:
- Hot Pink — a nod to the heat of hot flashes, but also boldness, sensuality, and unapologetic femininity.
- Plum — deep and grounding, a space for reflection, calm and emotional depth.
- Blush — gentle and nurturing, representing compassion and care.
- Carrot Orange — Bright, joyful, and full of life — the spark that speaks to energy and possibility.
Together, they tell a story that feels feminine but not stereotypical, vibrant yet professional, full of optimism and heart.
The Feel
We wanted the brand to be human, supportive, and uplifting — reflecting movement and positivity, rather than chaos or loss.

Before working with us, MSM had no brand identity and an off-the-shelf website that felt generic and lacked engagement. The challenge was to build a brand that inspired participation and represented the bold mission of supporting women through community outreach, private client care, and corporate training.
